We are pleased to share an extraordinary moment of pride for Saint John the Apostle School and our talented Schola choir. On Friday, June 2nd, the SJA Schola had the incredible opportunity to perform both the American and Canadian National anthems at the Mets vs. Toronto Blue Jays game held at Citi Field.
As representatives of SJA, the Schola members showcased their exceptional musical abilities, captivating the audience with their heartfelt renditions of both anthems. Their performance not only demonstrated their musical talents but also served as a symbol of the strong bond between the United States and Canada. By singing both national anthems, our students conveyed a message of unity, harmony, and respect for different cultures and nations.
The opportunity to perform at a major league baseball game is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Schola members, as well as the support and guidance of our music teacher, Mr. Joseph Mayon. It is through such opportunities that our students continue to grow, inspire others, and exemplify the spirit of Saint John the Apostle School. Well done Schola!
